Mata kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Perguruan Tinggi diaharapkan mampu mengembangkan sikap dan perilaku kewarganegaraan yang mengapresiasi nilai-nilai moral-etika dan religius, menjadi warganegara yang cerdas berkarakter, menjunjung tinggi nilai kemanusiaan dan menumbuhkembangkan jiwa dan semangat nasionalisme, rasa cinta pada tanah air serta mampu mengembangkan sikap demokratik berkeadaban dan bertanggungjawab, serta mengembangkan kemampuan kompetitif bangsa di era globalisasi dan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai keadilan


This course is aimed to make the students understand and  retell  the text that consists of the main idea, and its reasons. 

This subject is aimed to make the students understand, comprehend and retell the text that consists of main idea and its reasons.

This subject consists of Passive, Gerund Infinitive and Singular Plural.

After finishing this subject the students can master tenses

This compulsory course, which is a prerequisite for Poetry, Prose, and Drama, provide students with the opportunity to explore the basic concepts of, the nature of, the function of, and the basic approaches to literature with emphasis laid on English literary production. To arrive at this objective, therefore, focuses on analysis on the kinds of writing-literary and non-literary or serious and pop-are given attention. Based on the topics to be covered in the whole semester, students are expected to produce individual text analysis of the texts provided. Students’ learning is assessed through mid-term and final test, assignments, and class participation. The syllabus and the course orientation are given in the first session. This subject will be taught through a combination of lecture and class discussion. Course outline on each meeting:

3. The history of English Literature from old age until modern age.

4. Narrative genres.

9. Problems of fictional and non fictional writing.

10. How to interpret fictional and non fictional texts.

11. The characteristics of serious and pop fiction.

12. How to interpret serious and pop fiction.

13. Literary criticism.

15. UAS


THIS COURSE IS AIMED TO MAKE THE STUDENTS BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND, COMPREHEND,SUMMARIZE, AND RETELL THE ARGUMENTATION PASSAGE WHICH THEY HAVE LISTENED. BESIDES, IT IS ALSO AIMED TO MAKE THE STUDENTS BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE ARGUMENTS THE SPEAKER SAYS IN IT,
